This Afternoon: Snow showers and areas of blowing snow. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 21. West wind around 16 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 32 to 38 inches possible.

Tonight: Snow and widespread blowing snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 12. Wind chill values as low as zero. West wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 15 to 21 inches possible.

Saturday: Snow showers, mainly before 10am. High near 27. Wind chill values as low as -3. West wind between 10 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Snow Ridge scores again. Gotta love the CNY snowbelt. When the Syracuse areas were struggling, Snow Ridge was the place to go.

Could be heavy at times? How do you get a yard of snow in one afternoon without it being heavy at all times?!?!

Wait, this is just mind-boggling - are they really saying 32-38" this afternoon and a fresh 15-21" tonight? Total 4-5' in less than a day? Honestly with that much wouldn't there be an avy danger on anything steep enough to ski? (I don't know the area at all but Tug Hill is getting this dumpage, right?)

All of that is correct----they are getting pounded but believe me that's just part of everyday life near the Tug.

this is 100 % true the Tug always gets some prodigeous dumpage ------------Snow Ridge is a mini Alta at times . We have been going there for 2 decades and have hade some super nice pow days there and the goods are there too if ya know where to go :D

You gonna hit it up tomorrow??? I wish they were open tuesday's so I could shoot up there next week---dang the bad luck!!!
