Resort or Ski Area: Camelback Mountain Resort
Conditions: Packed Powder,
Trip Report: Best weekend of the season so far. Cold (like everywhere else) kept the lines at bay Saturday though the parking lots were pretty full. Sunday was pretty empty (football ?). Mother nature has put down a good mantle this year and even with the freezing rain early last week the surface remains nice. Bumps on Lower Cleo were skiing the best they have all year and finally the sun is beginning to reach Rocket and those bumps are starting to ski much better too. Sunday was a demo day and got to ski on a pair of Vokel(sp?) AC 50's which I liked and several pairs of Atomics some of which I liked and others I did not. My wife found a pair of Atomics she loved. All in all a fun weekend.
