It took 20 minutes from entering the line to unloading the lift. The wait in the line was never more than 10 minutes to the chair. Many little people in the corral!

RACK IT!

u drove 285.5 miles each way for 2 trails?

Crazy right? I don't get/understand how people can/want to do this. I love skiing as much as many others do on this site, but I don't get it. To stand in line for 15-20 minutes to ski 2 trails on 500 vertical is nuts. And to top it off, only go for 2 or so hours?

My buddy and I drove 2 1/2 hours last Tuesday to Killington (10 or so trails) but we both had the day off with no power at our work. We got there at 8:30 and skiied until 3:00. We got our money's worth for sure.

this weekend is out, as are most until after christmas. I'm gonna have to play hookie on a workday.

I wasn't bragging. I thought it was kinda crazy for me to do what I did, but in the end I was happy I did. Spending $39 on a ticket, $60 on gas, $20 on lunch for 6 hours of skiing is a bit crazy in my mind when you only are able to ride one chair and ski maybe 6 trails (don't know how you got in 8 hours of skiing 9am-4pm? = 7 hours)

But if "Congrats" and a  is what you want, there ya go!

Wow, I've driven to Jay Peak from CT and back in the same day before, but those trips were for powder days. Can't say I'd do it for this early season stuff, but for pow...
