Mt Hood is getting hammered..Utah as well..heading there next Friday...
Good choiceToday at Kirkwood was the sloppiest slop i ever skied. Snow levels are still a tad high here but dropping as i type, not sure how tomorrows gonna be. Either way I'm leaving here tomorrow at midnight to drive to slc for 7-10 days. I'll let things fill in and open up here...while skiing pow in utah!
Good choice
Alta got 22 with another foot to two on the way. Scale it back from there and park city is on the low end with 9" and a possible 1' coming
Solitude rocks
I came out for work and was able to ski Wednesday. Skied wed as the first storm got going. Have been watching weather last two nights and LCc and bcc have been hammered. Solitude was awesome even with marginal conditions on wedwhen did you ski Solitude? Did I miss a western trip by you? I know you have tried to make the Jane pilgrimage a few times, but was unaware you made it to Utah.
Flying out tomorrow at 7 am. Was hoping my boss would take pity on me today but it didn't happennice. hope you get some more turns in and aren't stuck in work conference and 3-2 beer hell the whole time.
Its funny how many people do not know where to get real beer in Utah..State liquor stores have always sold the real stuff..its just expensive. Park City has many microbrew houses where you can get as trashed as you want...trust me...try the imperial stout..at 10% alky...
Have fun at Solitude such great place your in utah can't go wrong any ski area theirSolitude is my first stop on sunday morning!
I may go north to targhee on this trip also
