Would have been better if you had captured the image, rather than just linked to the cam.

Live picture as of 4:06pm shows no line at all.

No lines at Sugarloaf today. I made runs from Timberline all the way to the base without passing anyone on the trails several times. It was cold but not out of control cold. It was 0 at 9am mid mountain. Wind was pretty light in terms of Sugarloaf winds. I was surprised by the total lack of lines anywhere all over. Weird. It snowed all over Maine yesterday and last weekend also. Maine is covered in snow. It's in peoples backyards. I'm pumped for tomorrow. First tracks at 7:30.

About 2 minutes. My wife and I lapped the Grand a number of times. We were at the mountain early and did a few runs with AM Express on the BlueBird. After that, we rode the other lifts. I swear, people like to wait in lines. Today was a CT Counsel day, so it was a bit busy. But I keep thinking back to us being the first ones down Canyon aroind 7:45; groomed with a light powder on top. Awesome.

I'm laughing at the pic; its the live cam, its dark out and not a sould to be seen.

There is zero need to wait in that line at all.... The Grand Summit and Canyon Quads were 1/4 as big and walk on for singles, couple minute wait for all else. People just love to wait there because it's the 6 pack. I never thought I would like having all those high speed lifts lined up next to each other, but you know what, it is awesome to have all 3 options on weekend days.

You gotta wonder what the future has in store for the Ego lift, I don't think it has run yet this year? Perhaps they will keep it as the only fixed grip option out of the main base but they really don't need it anymore even with the races...

Awesome!!! That's quite an improvemnt. Thanks for the update.

No problem.

It snowed today, and I think some people wanted to ride up under the bubble. But had to wait in line, in the snow to do so. Irony. ; )

Having the quad up and running is really nice. We were at the mountain yesterday and only the 'Bird was running. We had a wait a few times. Today, with the quad, no waiting.

I agree. I was there this past Monday and there was a line for the Bluebird while the quad and Canyons were ski on. It was cold but no wind so the bubble didn't really matter. I can't figure out why people would wait in line when there is a parallel lift just as fast to the top. When I finally did ride the Bluebird just to see what the big deal was, it kept slowing down and they shut it down for repairs on Tuesday. The only thing I can think of is, "People are sheep" and they fall for every marketing schtick out there. They somehow think that lift is better for some reason. They shut the quad down later in the day and I had to ride it again to get back to the Sundance Lodge. I'll pick the quad every time in the future while the sheep wait for the Bluebird. Oh, and some jackass had already scratched their initials into the bubble. By next year I'm thinking you won't be able to see out of the thing regardless of their warnings.
