Srsly? DIN rating is the measurement of expert skill on the hill?

I must really suck. I think my DIN is set around 9 and I never pre-release.
I'm thinking that there are very few, real experts. I would think that real experts would pull right out of and pre-release out of the recreational bindings that 99% of skiers use with DIN settings up to like 12. Experts probably have the DIN cranked up to like the 17 range... again probably only 1% of skiers or less.
