Burke is the correct answer. In fact, (IIRC) Burke barely squeezed out only one 14" storm last year too.
This year the coverage is decent considering the meager snow totals, 125" for the year. I'm pretty sure there are suburbs of Boston that have high snow totals this year.
Burke also made a lot more snow than in the past, so spring skiing should be good.

Can any other mountains claim this dubious distinction? (Besides the Lyndon Outing Club that was only open for a week this year).

The region covering the south-central NEK (Passumpsic River valley) and Upper/Upper Connecticut River Valley (Wells River to Lancaster) is in the snow shadow of the White Mtns during NorEasters. Burke's biggest snowfalls typically happen with Clipper systems. Those have been few and far between during the last couple of years. Burke typically sees many 3-5 inch snowfalls from the reminants of the clipper systems that get caught between the Greens and Whites where the clouds just continue to drop several inches of snow every couple of days. When things are really good we will record measurable snow everyday.
In all honestly, 16"+ events are VERY rare here.

Snow Depths as of today (the Red arrow points to Burke):

your spot on the panel is fading NEK

maybe focus more on how nice the roads are with such little snow, the ease of finding hazards in the woods, etc :)

I was there for the 14" last year, it was tracked out at the opening bell because they allowed the Mountain Academy early access.
Yep, I was planning to skin prior to lift served and in my powder hungry haste forgot my boots at home. By the time I got back they had the lift running for the academy. I still got a pretty good run in on Fox's Folly since the racers stayed away from anything that could hurt their skis. Add to the fact it was the first (ond only) real powder day of the year and everyone and their 5 year old niece was foaming at the mouth to get some of the powder.

Well on good/typical years, Burke has the "NEK Cloud" that hangs out over the entire region providing consistantly fresh snow and surface preserving temperatures. It's not the "Jay Cloud", but it is marketable :). So what if we go an entire month without seeing blue sky 8).

And they need more ideas for years when conditions are like this year right? Well, I'm their man!

No love lost, it was still a good day. Sad that I have not made it there this year, I've heard it is skiing well but every time I have checked the snow report it seems there are better options.

^ LOL. Sounds around my height!

You NEK guys don't fool me. Been skulking around Burke for a bit. That's where I cut my teeth skiing glades. I still remember when skiing the powerline from the summit was verboten.

That was kind of the point of my thread. Has there been any other resort/ski area in New England that has been is such a snow hole this year while everyone else was going off?
Dartmouth hasn't had much of anything. I had two vouchers there and have been watching all year for a sleeper storm to score untracked all day every run. It never happened. They've been slow to open natural terrain. But they are pretty close to the Upper Valley which does poorly with snow totals. Whaleback is at only 70" for the season, the coastals didn't reach them. I think everywhere else has had at least a single 12" storm at some point this season. But I don't know if those two areas ever did. Dartmouth for sure didn't.

Random observation: SoNH areas except for Whaleback don't list their snow totals on their web site. The closest I got to finding totals was Sunapee listing how much they have received in the past month (but no yearly total). They probably don't want to be compared to areas up north in that regard. Though this year, some areas might have done almost as good...
