Scattered my dear friend Donna's ashes at Hunter. I miss her terribly but always think of her at that spot in the hill.

I don't know of people but I have a feeling one of the Hunter owners might be buried there.

This might be a shock but I want my ashes flown over Platty.

The Slutzky's have a family plot on 23A just out of town. Very interesting cemetary...

After this past Saturday near death experience, I have decided shockingly that I like 50% of my ashes to be on top of Platty. And the other 50% to be on top of Alta/ Snowbird.

What happened?
We went down hill mountain biking at Plattekill. I wouldn't say it was a near death experience, but Scotty did take a few tumbles. I'd say, "Scotty, try this trail." Scotty would say, " I want half of my ashes at Platty, half at Alta/Snowbird."

After the Richie Havens memorial at the Woodstock site...
I walked around the field... And spotted a couple small piles of ashes... I knew it was a most likely a persons ashes...
Kinda cool... kinda creepy...

Not sure what drugs have to do with anything...

But yeah.. it was eerie..
I'm used to though... I kept my friend Donna's ashes in my living room for a while before we could scatter them..

I just meant that Richie and the scene if late 60s music and drugs were all over the place but he didn't part take, that is all.

My friend Brian died just over a year ago, he was a member of the Adaptive Ski Program at Loon. Big dude, very friendly, lost his vision when he was 20 or 21, never stopped him from skiing. Every weekend he took the bus from Boston to Lincoln, NH to ski at Loon, Cannon, or Sunday River. Working with his guides he made the best of any surface conditions. One of his final wishes were to have his ashes spread on the peaks of the mentioned areas.

Now that is a skier, really inspired, thanks so much for sharing his story. I like to think love like that for the sport lives on in us :)
