I'm making a last-minute call to head to Magic for the last throw back Thursday of the season. Does anyone else happen to be going?

Are you POSITIVE you are feeling ok today? I heard a rumor about a bug going around that comes on very suddenly... Or maybe you could get a phone call from a relative who needs some sort of help urgently?

Snow report shows everything but Black Magic and Slide of Hans open....pretty incredible for Early April---shows that So VT has had a good yr snowpack wise.

When I was last there in Feb some people were surprised it was open then. I enjoyed it.

When we were there last that section had sketchy coveragein some spots even after a two foot snow fall! With the melting the water is rolling of the ledges there and exposing more of the rock. The other trails are probably in better shape!

Slide of Hans. Likely closed b/c of the exposed snowmaking pipes at the bottom.

All of the good stuff is closed - or in the case of Black Line, will be shortly. If you like the groomers, they still have good coverage. But if you are looking for bumps, you are pretty much outta luck. Magics' best days this season are certainly in the rear view mirror. Oh well... I will look forward to getting back there next year. It's a great mountain!

Wow! Tough to look at! We had a great day there after a two foot dump. We are in the same boat - definitely returning for the RSNE weekend at a minimum.
