Thanks Scotty. That was a great read! Love that film The Last Waltz. Knew there was a lot of drama associated with it, but fun to read Levon Helm's personal account of the whole thing. Dylan was a prima donna. Van Morrison's performance was my favorite.
Pretty interesting to hear Levon say that he "never saw a penny from The Last Waltz. I don't think many people have, because Warners eventually charged the cost of the film against the album."

Not a huge country music fan, but I do like some Willie Nelson from time to time.

I have had a few recoveries and a lot of down time over the last years, so I decided to organize my extensive CD collection. I made and Excel file broken up by genre Rock, Blues, Reggae, Jazz, Zydeco, folk, etc. In doing so I found things I forgot I had, remembered some fantastic gems; but I also found several things I didn't have yet too, so I filled a few holes.

I have had a new fascination with Led Zeppelin, I bought several live CDs, including Inglewood 1975 and Frankfurt Tour Over Europe 1980, fantastic discs. Also, a couple Page/Plant 1995 Tour CDs and Jimmy Page & the Black Crowes At the Greek.

I'm a huge fan of Peter Green and the original Fleetwood Mac and got Blues Jam in Chicago. Green had some fine material, and Albatross is one of my all-time favorites.
Went to see Peter Frampton this summer, and I bought aa compilation including some of his early sides, also I couldn't find my copy of Performance Live at the Fillmore 1971, so I got that and have listened to it several times.

Savory Brown, Ten Years After and JJ Cale or always on my list to play,

A couple of Freddie King Live albums Live in America and Live & Loud 1968
Mick Taylor-Stranger in Town,
Jesse Colin Young-On the Road
Magic Sam-Rockin' Wild in Chicago
The Doors-Live at the Matrix 1967
Lloyd Jones I have several albums I have had on rotation, Love Gotcha, Trouble Monkey, Doin' What It Takes
Samantha Fish-Chills & Fever
Tommy Bolin-Post Toastee
David Gilmore-live
Golden Earring Live-Remastered & Expanded
Barbed Wire Sandwich-Black Cat Bone
