Can confirm. Today Ellen skied great. The middle mountain was a bit better than the upper trails but all in all one for the books. Tomorrow should be good too. Still sprinkling fluff. What we could use is a moderate wind to blow the snow off the trees to fill in the woods more. Although they skied great just as they were today.

I didn’t go over to Lincoln but imagine conditions were also good. When I checked the cams the lift lines were longer than I wanted. And Slidey-B wasn’t spinning. So called it a day instead of driving over.

They didn't get loading passengers until 1130ish on Slidey.

I honestly didn't look too closely at the trail report this morning, but I just noticed that quite a few natural trails show groomed. Since they have not regularly been updating the report at the end of the day to show what is being groomed for the next day, I'm assuming they were groomed last night...Moonshine, CR, Middle Earth, Lower Domino, Semi-Tough.

Meanwhile they still have not touched Sunrise lol. Really becoming comical at this point.

PS...heard from my cousin who is up there this week that today was fantastic. And he was at MRG yesterday and said it was great as well while the snow was starting to come down.
I think somebody may have heard you! Judging by SB's most recent IG post, they are blowing snow at the top of Sunrise this morning!

Doesn’t look steep enough to be sunrise. Although I’m struggling to figure out exactly where that photo was taken.

This extended weekend was great. I skied stuff yesterday I hadnt skied in years. Copious amounts of the blower pow.
Heavens gate was ski on by about 11am yesterday
skied friday and then took a spa day saturday due to the cold and knowing a storm was coming. The shark could use some updating but the hot tub, steam and sauna were positively rejuvenating.
Sunday was deserted. felt like old times.
Drive back to NY yesterday was slow but uneventful

Guns in strange places resurfacing today. What you assume the hard way to be a pile of soft snow turns out to be lumpy frozen glop at trail junctions. Still, they're resurfacing, so..
Maybe zero up there today but it was good. Got in a few nice ones with streetskier.

How do you make lumpy frozen glop in these temps? They must really be trying hard to make shit snow.

I concur; I missed the detachable grips at first glance. Resurfacing ANYTHING at this point with snowmaking terrain still to cover is just odd, unless they were charging to hit Birdland.

Yea...looking at it again, I 100% agree that is where that is from. That isn't listed as a place they are making snow, so I wasn't considering that.

They were mostly adding depth to coffee run so we make may. Turned a few others on near top of bravo and steins/OG /coffee intersection.
Skiing was still excellent today. Tomorrow time to hit MRG.

Yeah, that IG pic is looking down towards VHT top of Murphs. The hydrant for that land gun is at the top of Birdland. From reading the updated (4pm) conditions report it seems like a scattershot plan happening this week. Hitting all the thin spots needed to make it to spring. But I wonder what they mean by Jester. Unless it'll be lit up later because as of 430 no guns can be seen on the Allyns cam. It needs it though. Those corners were showing dirt before this past weekend. Coffee needs to be thick to stand up for a Steins exit in late April so that makes sense. Downspout around Allyns is always thin so that makes sense too. Maybe they will fatten up lower DS - lower Jester for an exit from HG in the spring. Dunno. I guess we will see.

I would hope they'd hit the pitch on Snowball. Yes, they put HUGE mounds on that trail, but that spot by Lixi's entrance is a weak spot once the sun gets high.

Yesterday were the best turns of the year. I was still finding tons of knee deep stashes at 2:30. It took a lot of self control to not call in sick today.
You got the best today was leftovers
Nothing like Monday
Still a amazing day but the snow got windblown and settling. it was also dry and slow wax was
Huge bumps in most woods chutes
