I rode it twice this year, and both times every chair was going loaded in each direction. So despite the ambivalence of some towards the lift, obviously people find it useful and likely appreciate communication of its status.
It was packed when I rode it on Sunday. Nearly every chair had passengers.

Snow was very good at Mt. Ellen today. Visibility? Hope you had radar  Place was pretty empty other than one roving gang of 5 year olds. No worse than a Thursday, if that.

Ya, Solitude just announced $99 day tickets. Also, IKON full pass holders get 3 days credits of $20/day after registering from an email link. Skied there last wk and tday..still decent by my northeast mindset after last wks snowfall..and more comin in.

A friend was recently (like 10 days ago) at Solitude. Called about buying tix and asked if there were any discounts. Person on the other end of the line said do you have any friends or family who have an Ikon pass. He gave them my name and hometown and they gave him 50% off tix, no questions asked. I didn't even tell him to do it and it doesn't look like they were credited against my allowed F&F tix. Happy that he was able to get reasonable tix.

Ahh...more "scheduled maintenance". I don't think that means what they think it means...
Well, I mean, all "maintenance work" is scheduled, even if the notice is very short.....

It's looking super nice out there. Hope you all are able to get some of this blue bird goodness. I unfortunately am only experiencing it via the webcams. Stupid corporate life... maybe the fresh snow on Saturday will compensate.

there's some punk kid on instagram spamming videos for clout, he posted a reel the other day complaining about how tracked out the church is, and then acted tuff saying "you can't tell me what to do" to every person in the comments calling him out. ruffles my feathers!!

college is decidedly not more fun than skiing i have break march 1st so hopefully it's good

Friday Ski Club! Work from home and then don't work from home. LOL That's my plan.
Ski a 3 day weekend, pack up and then work a couple of days, then.....Off to the Dolomites!

Wish I could do the same! I'm up here now...but don't think I'll be able to get out tomorrow with the meetings I have for work. So weird that I was barely in NJ this week. Went home Monday night and back up already tonight.

We stay in a little village called Arabba at the base of the Porta Vescovo. It has a good amount of steep skiing, its North facing and close to Marmolada. Last time we took the car over to Cortina and started our day from there. It's very nice but not really that big and somewhat isolated from the rest of the Sella Massif. I would suggest where I am staying or Corvara or Canazei. Other towns like Selva and Ortisei and Santa Christina on the Val Gardenia side are more crowded and they have much more beginner intermediate skiing.

Headed up to sugarbush tomorrow for the week for our yearly trip. Skiing tomorrow for the first time in a while so looks like I’ll be leaving around 4 am, hopefully the snow isn’t too bad by the time I get up there
