Whaleback Sat 1/4/2013

Great to have the mountain back open. For anyone who has never skied Whaleback, there is much more than what you can see from the road. It is small, but skies and feels very much like a Magic Mountain. Great atmosphere, trees, steeps, etc. New management is making effort to make more snow. Please take the time to stop by and show your support, you won't be disappointing if there is good snow (hopefully this r*in becomes a nice base).

Nice! Was at Whaleback 3x last yr...one of which was a knee deep powder day, incredible.
Real awesome gem that is so easy to get to--everyone should give it a try.

Whaleback is a nice little mountain. It definitely needs help from Mother Nature, though!

Hi everyone, whaleback skier here! My kids have skied here for 3 years, and love their home mountain. Whaleback SURE could use support to keep it up and running. This rain is a bummer, but they've been blowing snow non-stop and will continue after this evening.

I was either going to Whaleback or Dartmouth on Saturday. Couldn't make a bad choice.

Whaleback operates on a razor-thin margin. We are doing everything we can to generate revenue and keep people coming to the mountain!! I'm very pleased to see the positive feedback here! People seem to have a lot of love for the Whale!

Don't you mean if they act like YOUR kids you're not game!

Hopefully the next time we come, David and Max can ski together. David would love to ski with other little buggers who can ski (ahem...) "double blacks"!
