Might be awhile, but I am working on a blog post about how affordable Switzerland actually is and if you are planning on flying out west you could actually go to Switzerland for less (all in, flight, ground transport, lifts, lodging...)

Wow, nice stoke! My wife is heading to Switzerland this weekend. After seeing this I won't let let her go without me next time!

Skied there when I was studying abroad back in 2003. Place was unbelievable.

Looks like that is prior to when the Matterhorn Express gondola went in. That system was a game changer for long lift lines.

I had to take a couple lifts to get to the top when I was there. There was a quad that went up from the town the. Another quad I think. I believe you then had to ski down to the tram to get to the summit by the Matterhorn. I skied for a week and I think I only skied like 1/4 of the terrain
