My photos are quite similar; nicely captured! I also took a run on Paradise Sunday, and two on Castlerock (Middle Earth and CR/Cotillion) today. It's rare when you take charge of where to turn rather than letting the terrain call the shots!

Brand loyalty! But, you rate(d) your MasterBlasters as your "best". Ever try Volkl's? Anything on the 'heavier' side?

KS: Curious what other skis are in your quiver. I am retiring my Mantra M5's; and also enjoy my J Fastforwards! (In fact, I enjoy all my skis, including Scott Slight 100's; Ramp Groundhogs (100's, as well); and old Fischer Pro Mt 86 Ti's). I'm looking at the MasterBlasters (J's blemish sale) or...

We CAN have it both ways, with some work and attention to making it most informative for those who continue to seek and enjoy the latest Sugarbush reports. Hey, does anyone want to hear about my fantastic 4 days at Winter Park before, during, and after their big, recent storm?! See y'all soon...

and from this afternoon's report, projecting tomorrow's conditions and plan: "It’ll be a bit windy but decreasing throughout the day, so fingers crossed lift operations should be smooth as ever😊" (BTW, I heard that CR actually opened TODAY, and that it was awesome!)

Greetings from Montana/Idaho, Sugarbush Friends! Ski The East / Ski The West, it don't matter! Discovered 'Discovery Ski Area' today. Thursday/Friday at Whitefish (with former Sugarbush and MRG instructor Jerry Griffiths...anyone know him?). Lookout Pass is Monday's plan before 3 days to...

As an ambassador, I can tell you that our input on concerns such as this isn't going to bubble up to the right people. However, as some of those folks may be peeking at these posts; or if you have a more direct line to Mt. Operations; you'd have a better chance of getting desired results (or...

Nice to know some of the manmade (aforementioned) "frozen precipitation" lands on some trails, too! From this afternoon's update: "Looking towards this evening, the producers of frozen precipitation will be blowing snow across both peaks and on many trails including Stein's Run, Sunrise...

Thanks, and I owe much to JJ Toland and Chris Enman, who helped me grow beyond what must've surely been some wonky early reports, as well. I heard plenty of customer/friend comments which also helped steer what I was reporting...such as PUT NEW SNOWFALL INFO FIRST! Win, and Dispatch (Karen) were...

Enthusiastic, for sure. But, in his early 20's and not yet an experienced (Sugarbush) skier (compared to my 53 years with a feel for the mountain, and 'journalism' when I got the job). I'd enjoy a few chairlift rides with him to help him better understand the priorities...and not the need for a...

I've had ATT since the 'beginning' (Cellular One, etc.). Coverage/dead zones/dropped calls, etc. have gotten progressively worse; and I'm not referencing the Sugarbush area. But, I don't want to switch if it results in poor Sugarbush coverage. From what I'm hearing here, I'd better be careful...

Hey Sugarbush Friends: Taking thoughts off of skiing for this question, though Sugarbush-related! I'm steering away from AT&T for my cell phone, though I'm (only) satisfied with my coverage/reception while at Sugarbush. Anyone have good or bad experience to share with Verizon or T-Mobile? THANKS.

Got it...much better! I didn't understand that your 20+1 was only referencing IKON days. I skied at Red 2 years ago; got home 1 day before TSHTF. Had a great time! Stayed right in Rossland at a hotel across from the brewery. We got some modest powder for our final day...beautiful! On THAT trip...
