Place: Hunter Mountain

Conditions: powder, pp, hard pack

Got in line at 8am, first spot. They loades at 8:25. Looks like a few more overnight. Hit mini squaw on Hellgate, the left of the guns, hard right onto 42 form the top. Bottomed a few times, but who cares. Onto right side of Kennedy. Freshies all the way. Did that 4 times till we hit a closed White Cloud and then Wayout. Wayout closed sign was on it, but everyone skied by. Hit tower 6 cut off for an great untracked line down lower Clairs. Lift was still closed. first up Z, White Cloud to Clairs again anf then more 42 and Kennedy. Looks like some hiking this PM at Hunter 1.

Hunter 12/20 part 2

Decided to take a hike up to the Highlands at Hunter 1. E lift was not running so I hiked from the top of C lift. One track was there before me. Headed up the left side of the highlands. It has pretty much been snowing for over 24 hours. Well over 12 inches now.

Crowds. Big Saturday crowd. Naturally, it was Saturday so the Quad had to break for about 30 minutes at 2:30.

Otherwise, Z, D and F were not crowded.
