So, there was a little rain in the morning, but it wasn't too bad, and it looked like we should be okay for a little while in the afternoon... Well, we were wrong... We started off a bit after 3, with a light intermittent drizzle. The trails were fine except for wet rocks, which were definitely slick. Most of the light rain wasn't really making its way through the canopy though. The riding was a bit more challenging due to the slickness of the rocks, but the dirt was fine, no real mud or anything. Then after a few miles it started to rain, hard. It didn't take long for the group to decide to start heading back towards the cars. After a short period we were all as soaked as one possibly could be, so there really wasn't any need to rush back. We made our way back to the lot where we all cleaned off as best we could and put on as many dry clothes as could find, all while dodging scattered showers.

We rode about 5.2 miles. One of these days I'll make it there when it's dry.

One of the wettest rides I can remember!! At least it kept the mosquito's out of the air. ;-)
