Heard a rumor from a connection @ Cannon that the tram would be closed mid-week? Seems Friday Sat and Sun are the operational days.

Anyone hear anything associated with this?

I know last year Cannon had a few blackout days mid week for the tram...but not all midweek.

I was feeding the SKi Jones and cruising some websites. :< Prices up, deals down.

Wildcat's next day pricing is $39...which is what it was last year I think (finally up from the $25? of past years).

Ah well...looks like I'll be enjoying my Wa pass and anywhere that pass gets me a discount (Sunapee, Okemo, Stratton).

It was open at least a couple of weekdays last season. It was closed Fridays, though, much to my surprise. I've been there 3 times and still haven't caught the tram. One day...

And 50% off at Jay!

Dude...if we split the cost...go as a group from the team or someting...I'd consider it.

I didn't put it on the list because of the travel time (for me anyway). I'm at least 30 minutes south of you...prolly closer to 45. I'm willing...in a car pool deal.

As for the Cannon Tram...I went back to my source to see what more he knows. He used to go Wednesdays all season long (lucky bastard). He indicated that Wednesdays were not a tram day this coming season....that he'd be going Fridays instread.

I remember Canon started cutting the tram last year...didn't run on...Monday?...and one or two other days. Oddly, Wednesday was "on" last year.

I'll post more info when I hear back from the guy. I figured maybe one of the Native residents would know and post.

Wasn't Wednesday a twofer day? Perhaps they wanted to 'show off' for the budget conscious folks and entice them to come back on the weekends for full price.

I think Wednesday was NH Resident day.

This year...Tues and Thur appear to be 2-fer days.

I checked with my rumor source...and he admits it's all in the talk phase still...but the talk is Friday through Mon for the Tram.

That summit quad (if it runs) will be nippy!

Meh! Plenty of good terrain short of the summit. And if the wind's blowing...not worth my frostbite. *smirk*

Now I need a co-pilot for mid-week.
