2008-2009 Northeast Ski Area Improvements

Howdy Y’all.

Craig from Crotched here with an update on all the super sweet improvements
we have been making to the mountain.

I know, it HAS been awhile but I like to keep you in suspense. Let’s not
wait any longer, shall we.....

**CROTCHED MOUNTAIN IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE 2008/09 SEASON**

Believe it or not, we have added more snowmaking capacity on Milky Way,
Equinox & UFO. Like we didn’t have enough already! When it comes to
throwing around the white stuff, we like to do it better then anyone. I
MEAN ANYONE!

For all of you extreme skiers and rider out there...
We have re-graded UFO. Wait till you see it, you’ll want to become an
unidentified flying object... down this trail.

Y’all remember the glade trail off the top of Galaxy, well we cleaned it up
a bit and slapped a name on it. I give to you, the SOLSTICE GLADES. Enjoy
responsibly.

For all you beginners and double chair lift riders. I can’t even begin to
describe what we have done to the area around the top of the double chair
lift. Let me say this, when I first had seen it, I though I was at a
different ski resort. Yeah, it looks that different.

The patio on the back of the ATC building is scheduled to be rebuilt with
over 1000 square ft. being added to the current deck. We haven’t actually
started this project yet, still waiting for the permits. We should be
getting those any day now, any day.

How can I talk about improvements and not talk about our wonderful
Groomers. All of the tillers in all of our grooming machines have been
overhauled. It will be like having all new grooming equipment. Wait till
you see the cord we’ll be laying this season. It is going to make you cry
tears of joy.

** AND FINALLY **

We are going to be making some upgrades to the main lodge, café area &
Onset pub. I don’t want to give away all of my secrets. Like I said
earlier, I like to keep you in suspense. You will just have to come to the
mountain this winter to see what’s been going down in the lodge. Trust me,
you will not be disappointed.
