Vail?? Bay1 tommorow or will you be in Church?

I'll watch the thermometer. The NWS looks like frozen crunch with a pretty good breeze. They often miss by quite a bit. If I see 35F at my place, I'll go take a few runs and maybe break out the grill. Midweek looks great so I won't be upset if I skip a day.

Gunstock

Bought Gunstock passes for the family. We have a place up on Winni so we can get to the MT in 30 minutes.

330 for adults 220 for kids. Just over a grand for a seasons worth of skiing, not a bad deal.

Thinking about getting a seaonal locker there anyone done that? Any feedback? I just don't want to lug the gear back and forth everytime we go.

Whats up with Boyne Rewards? Anyone a member?

Yes, I am a member. Whenever you buy something at one of ther resorts, you hand the cashier your Boyne Rewards card and get points based on what you spend including a seson pass. I did the same as the other poster and paid $474 for my next years season silver pass.

So, after spending say 550$, you get 75 points? or 75$? or 75 points = 75$ at any boyne resort? or points + money off your pass?

I applied last week -- hopefully my rewards card comes in before the 30th....

I'm insanely jealous. Best lake in the northeast. Hoping to get there again this year in August to spend a week water skiing ,cruising and hitting up the Naswa.

Camelback pulled what I consider a quick one on us this year and grabbed our money at the end of March for next season. We're basically married to the mountain with my daughter instructing there and my son on the mountain ski team so we ponied up but I wasn't thrilled about it. No word on the locker room yet. The scream you hear in September will be me when they raise the rates. Most likely I'll end up paying it anyway.

Just renewed my Boyne Silver Pass. I'm still not sure if I'm going to renew my Wachusetts Bronze Pass.

Sounds like my situation exactly: re-upped for the New England Silver Pass but hedging on the Mighty Wa. Perhaps if they have another great deal on the bronze before the season begins like they did this year, I may be tempted. Otherwise, I may just take that money and use it exploring other mountains on my blackout days. I must hit Saddleback next season.

Just pulled trigger on K-ton midweek pass. I may upgrade to the blackout pass if it looks like the weekdays are not going to work as the time gets closer. I will also get a Cannon pass.

It's the same price this year as it was the past couple of years. I use to ski a lot of Fridays and Mondays there but last year my work hours changed which made it easier to go to Sunday River on Fridays and made it tough to hit Mondays. I ended up getting laid off a couple of months ago so I want to wait to see what kind of hours I'll have when I get a new job. Right now though I'm on my way out the door to head up to Maine to get a couple more days on my 08/09 Boyne Pass. :daffy:

My only issue with Wa is that it got boring after a bit. Of course, skiing after work is infinitely better than watching the tube. We'll see how the spirit moves me as ski season gets closer. I may just bite the bullet then.

Have fun at the Loaf! I'll be scooting around Candyside in green Rossis. If you see me, say hi!

If you make it over hit up Town Docks in Meredith with the boat. Live music, nice sandy area, plenty of docking. Good food and Good drinks.

Personally I prefer the Wolfeboro side of Winnpeasaukee. But then again, I was incredibly fortunate enough for the 1st 35 years of my life to have grandparents that owned 300 feet of waterfront property in Delings Cove in Wolfeboro, just off of South Wolfeboro Bay :)

It's all good. Funny how everyone is attached to "their part of the lake". I Married into a "camp" in Moltonborough/Center Harbor with nice sandy beach in Blackey Cove built by my wife's grandfather. I know my kids will grow up loving it up there. Boat goes in in a few weeks, we were up last weekend and alot of boats are already in. Time to hang up the skis/board and dust off the kayaks, wakeboard, and fishing poles!
