Excellent, keep us posted on your training.
I tried to run a marathon back in 1979 when I was in high school, I hit the wall hard at 22 miles and I couldn't finish. I couldn't even walk more than a few hundred yards.
I think this was due to my lack of training - I didn't run any days over 15 miles when training for it.
Make sure you put in some long days even if they're slower than race pace.
It's an incredible acomplishment to finish a marathon.

How did you get in- qualify? This is the second year I've entered the lottery- my times aren't good enough to straight up qualify (yet). Congratulations & good luck!
