I am not sixty but I always found long boards to be intriguing! Would never consider park.

I am 58 and ride a long board slalom course down my street. Been doing it since before long boards. The road is smooth and has a nice crown and width that allows me to control speed. I have no idea how this translates to snowboarding since I am a devoted skier.

I used to Rollerblade with my ski poles, you can propel yourself with just your poles if you aren't too aggressive pushing off. I think you can get spiked tips for them. It's a pretty good workout, no impact on old joints either... as long as you stay upright. I had a few spills on the tarmac, much easier crashing on snow for sure, no chunks of flesh left behind then. Leather gloves are good, and a helmet, of course.;)
