Seems to me the only ones SIA would care about are those that make a good buck. Ice fishing, hiking, climbing and camping, don't bring in a lot of loot. Yeah, you've got gear, but it's hard to suck them into "fashionable" gear that needs replacement every year. Snowmobiling, well, that's a whole different market.

I was just saying some on this thread didn't understand why everyone stays inside during the winter. I was just saying that not all people do and that there is more to life than skiing in the winter.

Agree smelly. Go to Minneapolis, it's amazing how many outdoors activities people find. The city is busier than on a work day!

Now then, you could always
go bowling,
play the lottery,
bingo 5x week,
go to the garden show,
bet on the ponies via video,
Go to the mall. Again.
Watch every new reality show.
