OK, I thought I would start this thread for you to post videos and music that you recall from the 80's.

I saw this and I can actually recall hearing this on AM radio when I was a kid in the 'Kingdom. Scary.

The 80s were the end of punk (Clash, Ramones) and good New Wave (Talking Heads, Devo) morphed into pop-crap (too many to list). I enjoyed the rise of indie rock (REM, Replacements, etc). And the older 60s/70s bands became like national monuments (CSN, Stones, Bruce, etc). How much friggin' money do you think bands like Pink Floyd or the Stones made from this period on? Amazing. I hated the hair bands, too......

Favorite 80s tunes:

REM - South Central Rain
Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill
Siouxie/Banshees - The Killing Jar
Living Color - Cult of Personality

This may be more 70s than 80s, but sure that they lasted into the 80s. I've been listening to the Cramps lately, classics such as:

Eyeball in My Martini
I Wanna Get in Your Pants
Wilder Wilder Faster Faster
Naked Girl Falling
Lets Get F-cked Up
Cramps_NakedGirlFallingDownTheStairs
Surfin' Bird
Ultra Twist
Confessions Of A Psycho Cat
No Club Lone Wolf

That was my earlier point..
Those 70's bands kept me sane in the early 80's...
Like the Clash for instance..

A shot I took from the ledgendary Bonds Casino... :)

Same here, a lot of 70s punk and then started getting into a lot of reggae to keep me sane :). And no, that doesn't mean Marley. For me it was Yellowman, Johnny Osbourne, Eek a Mouse, Half Pint, Lovindeer, Michican and Smilie, the list goes on and on. There is so much gold in Jamaica. :)
