Went there on Feburary 22nd and it was great. Knee deep powder in places. The woods there were awesome. You just had to watch out for ice under some of the powder.
Funny thing is that there was no snow anywhere near Jay. Even in town nothing just a dusting so I thought it would be awful skiing but it turned out to be the best all year.
The view while driving up to Jay Peak.

Poma line was nice but not quite as good as it looks, underneath all of that powder was ICE!
Dad in Beaver Pond Glade
An untracked line waiting to be skied!
The tram and ridge and face chutes... The Face Chutes and Tuckermans Chute were closed in the morning but so many people were ducking the ropes that they decided to open them... cover was still a bit too thin for my liking so I decided to pass on skiing them that day. Yes those are people at the top of the ridge and yes they did ski off of it... only a bit further down where it gets steeper.
