I am going out of my mind with this forecast and not getting out to be able to ski it! I won't risk injury this early, that would really suck.

Really nice pix thanks for sharing!

Thats funny, but technically no. It snowed "piss in a bottle"

I must be old, as I don't understand the whole PBR rebirth thing. Back in the day PBR was the beer served on nickle beer nights or when you were too broke to afford a premium brand. I was shocked to see draft PBR for $5 a pint which was the same price as good micro brew at the same bar.

O.K. the whole PBR thing. My local bar sells it for a buck a pint along with coors, always. It's dirt cheap @ the liquor store also. I have been drinking it for many years now along with others cheap beers including but not limited to Natural Light, Miller, Keystone along with the micro when I have more than five dollers in my wallet. I just wish PBR (and now high life) never became hipster beer but honestly I could care less because it is cheaper than water (it really is!)

The other night before the ski movie I was drinking fat tires and came to the conclusion that fat tire is o.k. but I would rather drink swill to get drunk, drinking beer should never be work-to me three or more micros feels like work.

Oh and shame on any bar for charging 5 dollers for a pint of PBR, I'm going to assume only a douchebag would pay those prices. I have never seen PBR on draft at a bar more than 350.

I agree with the sentiment, and I've seen PBR for that price, but never next to a Micro for the same price (micro always having been more)

Hey snoseek. We think of you too. It that ski thing. Can't you drink a good beer.:puke:
+!

That's a strong statement. There are places where the laws of economics dictate that beer (and all other drinks too) is redic. expensive in bars (liquor licenses, rent levels, distribution costs, supply and demand). Without being able to name a place, I'm sure I've been in a bar that charges $5 for a PBR and more for most other beers. If its the cheapest thing on the menu, why is it a douchebag move to order it?

Nice pics though! Won't be long now!

The only place I know that charges $5 for PBR is the bar across the street -- $5 for a pitcher, that is.=)

You're a good man, snoseek. If we show up in CO someday, we'll bring you a 6-pack of Maine's finest: Thumper!

They've always got PBR on tap at Bromley. I like having a PBR now and again up in VT...paying a little bit of a tribute to the semi local area near our place.

Beautiful pics...agree with SKISKIER..here in NewEngland that's enough stuff to get me out in it with the rock skis....clearly enough...especially out in known non-paved, country terrain....

O.K. I take back the douchebag statement, it wasn't very thoughtful. If they were charging 5 a pint of swill and 7 for micro that would be the best decision i guess. I don't think I could ever pay those prices though. Christ even my local hill sell 2.25 drafts everyday rotating between swill and micros. Needless to say I drink whatever is on the 2.25 menu that day lol.
