I know this season, I am going to be a newbie

I have been skiing exclusively on snowblades. I own two pairs (Salomon & Head). After using these Head blades a few times, I realized how much they stink and I wanted to go back to skis again.

I ended up buying a pair of Salomon 1080 skis in April to compliment my Salomon snow blades. I did use the 1080 skis in May at Killington for a few runs. This upcoming season I will have to get use to the pole concept and going from 99.9cm to 161cm on my feet. At least I got skis that behave like snowblades, well that is the consensus I got at the ski shops.

So for any AZ trips early in the Season, I will be a newbie!

We are trying to do an opening day at Killington. Once resorts start to open more firm dates will be set. Keep popping into the trips and events forum and view the callender as well.
Newbie or not your welcome to come have fun.

This place is so anti snowblade...

ALLRIGHT... I GET IT!!! ;)

I seriously never have had an interest in blades..
Everytime I see someone on them they're always off balance...

Sorry, I saw that and just couldn't help it... ;)

I never tried snowblades, I don't think I'd have enough balance too... Maybe I should try them to work on my balance...

Snowblader looking off balance:

Blades are not long enough.

I use a 99.9 Salomon mimimax. I can not wait to use the Salomon 1080 skis, it is like my snowblades all grown up :p

I do have a pair of HEAD with Tyrolia ski bindings used about 5 times last season that are going to be Ebayed those are either 94 or 90cm. To small for me.
