Will be up at Sugarbush this pres weekend. The thought popped into my mind to consider taking a group lesson. Looking at their offerings they a couple (listed below). Anyone ever try these?

i'm just looking for a tune up on my technique (lack there of) and cutting lift lines for 2 hours on a busy holiday weekend isn't a bad perk. I've had good luck in the past at Okemo where the advanced adult classes are lightly attended and i got a lot of coaching time.

MAX 4 ADVANCED WORKSHOPS ($75)


  • Ages: Adults and teens over 13 years
  • Ski/Ride, Ability: Ski and Ride, Intermediate and above
  • Lesson Type: Group Lesson
  • Small, focussed groups lessons for individualized instruction.
  • Max 4 Advanced Workshops are small and personalized group lessons with a four-person maximum. Max 4 is perfect for guests who are looking for individualized instruction in a group setting to have fun with like-minded people of the same ability level.
    Two-hour group lesson offered twice daily. Max 4 meets outside at the Farmhouse Meeting Place 15-minutes prior to the beginning of the lesson.

  • Ski/Ride, Ability: Off-piste experts only

    • Tours offered on weekend and holiday mornings only
    • Tours only offered when the conditions are appropriate/safe
    • Reservations required
    • Group size limited to 6 people
    • Approximate tour time is 2 hours
    • Guides will explore various locations based on guest's ability levels and daily conditions
    Times: In order to take advantage of the best snow conditions, these tours meet at 9:45 AM at the Ski & Ride Group Lesson meeting area outside of the Farmhouse Lodge.
