Alpinezoner's should be the most educated skiers on the hills this winter. Nobody's going to make a mistake and everybody's going to go in there with a strategy. :D

I really like this board, and I find a lot of interesting & ski-related material(gasp--imagine that!). Also this seems like a very nice group of skiers. Kudos to Greg for guiding it in this direction.

Hope that if you ski at Killington next season you will stop by the 10am meeting spot and say hello to/ski a few runs with us "Zoners" who post here in AZ from time to time!

I think all the best/worst questions arise from the fact that everyone here loves skiing and wants to talk about it, but what can you say in the middle of summer? At least the polls give us something. :p AZ is a great place to interact with other fanatics, the Barking Bear ain't bad either.

Same here.

I know I'm sarcastic sometimes and yes, this post was made in good fun, but shouldn't it also be sort of true? We're all going to know where to go, when to go there, what to eat, where to evacuate, where to score a bargain, what trails are the hardest, etc. It's great!

I am going to be up your way tomorrow, we decided to go tubing/kayaking on the Esophus. I need a day in the mountains, the flatlands are starting to get to me.

I just checked out Belleayre's website and they are cutting two new trails and one glade. I shall have to get some pictures for the group, but that will involve hiking   :D

Actually, yeah I am a Patriots fan. I don't follow sports that closely though, just catch a few games every now and then. I was just trying to get a rise out of the Jets fans here ;)

Go Pats!

Another long time suffering Pats fan here...

Until 2002.

Alpinezoner's should be the most educated skiers on the hills this winter. Nobody's going to make a mistake and everybody's going to go in there with a strategy.

The usual strategy: If there's snow, go to MRG, if not, go to Sugarbush.

Oh wait, that's only for MRV freaks. Yes, we are now very educated now. We'll be able to find powdery, uncrowded slopes while all the non-AZer's are fighting the masses of people found in all the Ctl. VT resorts.
