Well, by the end of this season I will have almost skied all of the State's areas. So far here is where I've been (listing when I first skied each place:

Coming up:

That will leave Beaver Mountain, PowMo, Eagle Resort, and Brian Head. Stay tuned.

That's great for you! In 2002 just before olympics, I skied Alta, Snowbird, SnowBasin, Deer Valley, Canyons, Brighton, Solitude, Park City. In one trip. 10 days. Skied Park City 2 days, Snowbasin 2 days. Stayed in SLC. What a blast!

In the shadow of the moon.
Powder Mountain is fun. Take the sanctioned side country to the bus. The mountain runs a bus to pick you up by the road. Cat skiing is cheap there since it just takes you up on the ridge - but it's fun. Most of the mountain is flattish comparatively, bit there is some steep stuff off Paradise lift.

When you go to pow mow see if you can find someone that knows the hill well, there's a lot of low angle stuff but also a lot of really great side country terrain not to be missed. After a nice cold storm withput a ton of wind its incredible!

Brians head, huh? That's one's kind of out of the way, especially for a small area. Maybe you can bundle together a Vegas/Brian's head trip?`

Better yet the closeby desert mtb riding is second to none IMO, Moab without the people and even warmer.

Very cool. One more opening probably next year, they have a lift partially built already...

I still need Eagle Point and Brian Head. If all goes well I'll knock those off in early April. So I should be Utah complete for at least a few months.
