Cannon made some sick whales on the front 5.Pauleys and Avalanche had some of the biggest I've seen there. Here are a few on Avi.Above the cutover from Zoomer, the entrance to Avi had 2 25 footers.I don't even know how they will get these pushed down.FWIW,these pics don't do it justice.

Those look like fun, but it seems like it would take a lot of extra time to drain. I wonder why they did it that way?

IT seems a little ridiculous to me. No snowmaking on Profile or Taft and they are doing this.

I was there on Saturday. It was such a weird day with everything blown off the upper mountain and snaking through those giant whales trying to get to the tram.

Those HKD towers with their relatively limited throw + COLD air and a decent length snowmaking run can sure produce some MEGA whales like that!

I saw a few like that at Stratton yesterday too near mid mountain lodge/base of the URSA Express!

Gotta love big production snowmaking! :fangun:

Same comment from myself this weekend in reguard to spreading the wealth around on Profile,Taft and Lower Hard.Apparently they are going there next which will afterward probably end their snowmaking for the season except for emergency patch up.
