The Mayans were right. If it is the end, I'll be like, damn, should've went skiing, or raping, and pillaging, or shooting smack, anything but working, yuck. I'll be pissed. I could leave a message on the machine,"Yeah, I won't be in today, I'm afraid the Mayans were right. If they were, F-you, if not, merry Christmas, see you Wednesday. "
I'd have to put my money on the Mayans, I'd lose my holiday pay for missing the day before the holiday. Although, we are working the Saturday before New Years in lue of the Monday before Christmas, perhaps that is the day before the holiday. Not in their eyes, I'm sure. This could all be a moot point, time will tell. I think I'll put off my Christmas shopping til I'm sure I must, see, there's always a silver lining!
I guess tomorrow would be the day to take off, world is supposed to end on Friday, might not get a full day on the hill.
