This was one thing I hated during college and the apartment/condo days. We started sleeping with a fan on all year for the white noise. In fact, we got so used to it, we still do it now despite living in a silent house.

i have this little science expreriment that turns a wall into a speaker. it puts out about 113dB at 1watt/1meter down to about 500. i would put that shit on a celling /wall/floor and play porn/murders scenes audio through it people got the idea real quick on guy called the cops on me once and i invited the cop in to to show him what i was doing. while the cop was there the.started yelling so i turned it back on. both of us where in stiches. on holloween i was playing really strange shit. the people in that building never bothered me after the first month.

Just call the police, tell them you think there may be domestic abuse going on. They'll come by right quick. After the third time or so, dude will spend a night in jail. They may get the idea shortly thereafter.

The girls who lie upstairs from us in Boston were watching the elections in November. I was in Connecticut that night, and when Obama was announced the winner (loser? hard to say...) one of the girls started screaming and running back and forth. My wife, there alone, could only hear screaming and running, so she called the police. And yet, the girls still have loud parties at 4 am on Tuesdays. Moral of the story: it generally takes a lot more than you'd expect for people to realize they're not alone in the universe.

Considering that your hoping to get on the job that's the best course of action. You don't need to confront them and risk it escalating.

Well he decides he's going to head-butt my door, which knocks him unconscious. I clean my place up a little bit, call the cops and they have an ambulance take haul him off.
