Just got back from a stellar afternoon at Killington. Pow and chowder. Amazing. Got to ski my favorite runs in prime conditions and nobody was there. Wow.

Did you get out?

If not, get out this weekend!

Had an amazing day at Sugarbush today! a foot of pow on the summit at LP... couldn't ask for more on April 5th! Now there's over a foot at the base of Mt. Ellen, so tomorrow should be another epic ski day!

:D

I was at Sunday River today as well and there was 12-18" of heavy powder, and it was alot of fun.

We are at Sugarloaf now and it is still snowing right now with 1-3" forecast overnight. Friday should be heavenly as the snow is very light here and 2' of snow fell already this week.

Snowshowers and cold weather are forecast for the next week up here, so regaee should be just fine.

I am going to bed now as friday will be a long day on ski's and I am tired from nearly 450 miles of driving + skiing.

22" and counting at the Bush.

I think thats gotta be a little "blown up" as K is only claiming 13" total I think and places like Jay also only reporting like 14". Selective reporting due to a nice late season refresh......its cool...but I don't buy it.

Anybody got "on mtn" reports?

Don't know where your getting your info but kmart is reporting 18", Bolton-24", Stowe-20", bush-20", SR-24", Jay-17". BMM did ski yesterday. You don't buy it, no problem. Some guy sitting in his cubicle in Jersey knows better.

Plenty of "on mtn" reports at kzone.com, skimrv.com, SR forum and others.

As SRO pointed out... I'm giving you an "on mtn" report. I was on the mountain yesterday, and I live ON the mountain.

I assure you it is NOT blown up. I have about 18" outside my door at the base of Mt. Ellen. There is at least a legit 22" on the mountain... probably more.

But that's ok... go ahead and think it's blown up. Ski somewhere else and leave the 22"+ of powder to me!

My son and I just came back from a short drive torward Rangeley through "moose alley" looking for moose.

We did not see any and we turned around where you can usually see Saddleback, but it started snowing fairly hard and sticking to the road, so maybe we will have fresh snow tomorrow.

Skied the bush Thursday, started with 8-10, got 4-5 during the day, (minimum), left at 4:00 PM in a raging blizzard. Skied Mad River today (Friday) in knee deep powder in many places! BMM wins and is very accurate!!!!!!!!! TR and pics to come, I really have to get some sleep.
P.S. who was talking inches and Maine this week? You should have witnessed the Sugarbush cloud Thursday!
