Ski porn doesn't really do it for me. I did go to the WME flick last year with a group form my ski club so that was kind of fun. And the comps were good, however, I never managed to use my Sugarbush or Gore tickets so I got no extra value at all. Will likely go this year if ski club friends go.

the one last year was better IMO.

Before last year's movie, I hasn't seen anything since the early 90's. It sounds like I didn't miss much! I'd like to see less background on the local-yocals in the film (sorry, I just want to see the skiing...), and I would prefer much more emphasis on resorts in the us and Canada - and some Europe . I have no interest in Iceland/Greenland, Russia, etc...

Oh, and please leave politics out of ski films.... Ugh.

Agree to some extent. As I said before, the quality of the WM movies dropped drastically since the Miller family sold the company (something like 8 or 10 years ago). They went from being fun, family, all about skiing and loving life to "stoked brah", preachy, and far more "manufactured" if that makes sense. I do think maybe they've listened to some criticism though, as the one last year was better IMO.

totally agree.

Much more convenient, and can repeat any part..probably a little less social..lol, ---> DVD. Think I find most other teams have better stuff than WM these days...but always gave him kudos for scoping out the places and skiers of the past, Plake, Schmidt...etc.

I missed two screenings last year but caught a third. I missed WM partly because a friend of mine couldn't make up his mind about what he was doing and partly because I didn't want the possibility of going twice. So I missed both shows. I also totally spaced Valhalla but then caught McConkey.

Until WM started having screenings in Plymouth NH I was beginning to think that the hour long drive to Lebanon wasn't worth the twenty dollar fare. For lift ticket deals all that was offered was early season two for one mid-week stuff plus the give-away amounted to one t-shirt last time I was there. One time going to a Meatheads screening I paid $3 for admittance and $10 dollars for a raffle. I walked out with a pair of ski gloves, 3 DVD's, a poster and a mouse pad. Going to screenings at Flying Monkey ($15) you'll either get tickets to either Cannon or Ragged.
