Hey All,

If it dumped 2 feet tomorrow morning, would you be ready to ski??? Do you have your gear ready and rearing to go? I could get by on my old gear..if we have a freak snowstorm and I never really put my ski stuff away..actually 2 pairs of my skis are in a closet and two are along the wall in the entrance of my crib. I want more ski socks. I always got mine from the Eastern Mountain Sports at the mall because they were buy one get second pair half off. I'll either have to buy them from EMS online or an EMS store in NJ. I also want to get a new liner for under my helmet for extremely cold days..I'll probably only use it a handfull of times but some damp 20 degree windy days have a realfeel below zero and it comes in handy and is so small. My goggles are good but if anybody has an extra pair of Iridium Blue A-Frames floating around that they won in comp or got as swag at a skiing event..PM me and I'll pay good money for it because it's my favorite goggle so far..and I want to stockpile those Mo-Fos. I want a pair of 176 All mountain skis with a radius of around 17m and a 185 pair of Poe skis with a twin-tip...my boots are also shot..getting new boots sucks..Anybody have Lange L10s in a size 10..323mm sole length mid-volume that is new or lightly used??? I hate breaking in new ski boots..I'm all set on poles..AtomicSkier from PASR gave me his old K2 Composites because he got new poles and I'm getting extra baskets in fall.,mainly for race type skiing. I'm ready to ski..but I need time to get all my stuff in order...Holla...

What do you need to do to get ready?????

I'm ready. My ski clothes and skis are as accessible as my summer and work clothes. My skis need a tune (never did the end-of-season tune and they were due for aside from it being the end of the year), but I can manage.

Skis and poles are in the car, boots are right in the closet. I could be at the mountain and skiing right now if the opportunity presented itself!

One set of skis are at the shop getting a tune, So I can sell them, or I can use the other ones that are hanging in my room. Gonna get some new boots and clothing, but could get by with what I have no problem.

Need to get a set of bindings mounted, and my other skis tuned, but I could go out now if I had too.

My atomics are ready to go, as is the rest of the gear. Still need to get bindings mounted on my Bandit BX's, and I'd like to pick up a set of the B3's as well before the season starts.

Just got the vice for my workshop, I need some wax and a base file guide to tune up the skis. They are in decent shape so I could head out with them tomorrow if needed. Heading up to Concord on the 22nd to have my new Nordicas fitted with Jeff Bokum. Again could use my old boots if needed. Anyone want to buy a size 27 Nordica Speedmachine 10 for $200. 05/06 but with only one season on them. :-D

Am I ready? The brand new equipment includes : 1 pair of AC40 Unlimited's, 1 pair of S5 Supersport's, 1 pair of Atomic M100s, 4 different tinted replacement lenses, and a boot/glove dryer. I'm halfway through an extreme workout program (P90X), and I've dropped 55 pounds. I scour the net every day for ski and stay packages, gear, and worldwide snow/weather reports. And I just joined AZ. I sure FEEL ready!

6 pairs of Dynastar's ready to rock, including two new pairs (Contact 9's and 8800's), and new demo bindings just mounted on my old Skicross 9's for friends / visitors.

About $2,000 of helmets, goggles, jackets and assorted paraphenalia for me and the kids from Backcountry and SAC over the past couple of months has kept the UPS guy busy too. I've been reay to go since my last day in May.

I just had my 3 new pairs of race stocks come in last week. Just got to fit em to my boots and crank the din's and I'm good to go. Lookin at ordering a couple years supply of wax this week as my current stockpile was dismal when I went to see if I had enough to wax stuff up ready for this season....

Karhu bc100s and some plastic boots! Pretty excited to "feel the power" of more boot. Also need a new shell, pants, helmet, cold day mits, could use a new pack too, but I'll prolly end up just sewing the old one up for another year. Skins, too, for my scaled skis.
Big list this year.

I'm ready, always ready. Finaly bought new skis, K2 strykers, which work great in spring slush and crud. Thinking of Volkle Mantras for the deep stuff but want to demo them first.

I could be dressed and out the door in 10 mins if it dumped right now. I know right where everything is, skis are waxed and ready and flask is full! Gotta make up for lost time last season so I am ready.

Thanks for recognizing JD! You can see HOW I did it in The Workout Thread. WAS 226 when I started (231 at heaviest) last spring, NOW I'm 171 (at just UNDER 6 ft tall).
