I skied there a few years ago, soon after the quad was installed and the extra 300 vertical feet added. It was spring skiing with deep, natural snow. Many of the trails were left ungroomed. The main face (under the lift) was awesome, with sections of steep expert grade. The mountain has a classic New England, non-bulldozed, uncrowded feel. The mountain feels wide and there are many areas to explore. Like places like Burke, Mad River Glen, Tenney, Ragged, etc., it's definitely worth a visit, especially on a weekend when other places would be too crowded. These are the type of ski areas that keep skiing fun for people like me.

Maybe Ascutney sais they get 200" because there right next to Killington that sais they get 250". If you didn't know better you would look at Killington's and then Ascutney's snowfall and since there close together you would think Ascutney's were accurate.
