billski puts it very well. this is not a legal or ethical issue, this is a customer service issue and what is now turning into a public relations and publicity issue (hopefully nightmare, which is what it should be for them since it is such a nasty move). here is the only issue that is involved: if you pay for a lift ticket at ASC or if you purchase a season pass or if you give ASC any money, you are supporting their bad service and decision to change prices, even if it doesn't directly effect you, you are still supporting them. if people still pay and don't walk, then it is not a severe enough service problem to effect business. buyer beware as they say, i think it is a good saying. don't support businesses that don't treat their customers the way you want to be treated. that's all there is to it.I think you're wasting a stamp writing to the AG. As long as they post their prices publicly, and give notice that prices are subject to change, there is likely no legal recourse.
