BARTLETT, NH — Along with the season's first snowflakes comes the arrival of two new members to the Attitash marketing team. Alex Kaufman, most recently of Killington, Vermont and Eric Fredrickson whose hometown is Andover, Massachusetts have both recently been added to Attitash's marketing roster.
"The momentum is on our side heading into the winter season," said John Urdi, vice president of brand management for Attitash. "Guests may notice the new logo at first glance, but there's action behind the scenes as well."
Eric Fredrickson has assumed the role of Marketing and Merchandising Manager. Fredrickson brings an extensive background in the music industry, most recently as Northeast Regional Promotions Director for Tower Records. Fredrickson will be drawing from these experiences to bring a fresh look and feel to the Attitash brand. He learned to ski at an age of 18 months.
"The Mount Washington Valley offers so many ways to get active," said Fredrickson. "The opportunity to work in such a beautiful and exciting area is one I just couldn't pass up on. The relationship between the resort and the community is one that I look forward to strengthening through my work at Attitash."
Taking over the reigns as Resort Communications Manager is Alex Kaufman who most recently held the position of Communications Coordinator at Killington Resort in Vermont. Other resorts at which Kaufman has spent time include Sugarbush, Vail and Steamboat. Kaufman will employ ski industry experience and a background in broadcasting to further Attitash's communications efforts. He learned to ski at the age of three.
"I don't seem to be able to spend time where it doesn't snow," said Kaufman. "I was born in Vermont, then spent time in Colorado before returning to the East. I like to ski, ride, golf, fish, hike, and practice a bit of meteorology. Communicating my passions to the public is turning out to be a good fit."
Kaufman and Fredrickson will be working side-by-side, literally and figuratively, to strengthen Attitash's position in the marketplace and build upon the resort's community relations.
