Well we got a late start due to a memorial service and we finished late. I left at 10:20pm and results had not been posted yet. We finished 5th for the night 4th overall. We are off the to the finals. Hopefully soon I will get notification of how it works. I will send Pats and e-mail and spread the info.

Ga2ski brought his lovely bride to join the activites. There were just 5 of us racing. We all finished in the same area and scored well. A very nice ending to the season. Our 1st year and we made the finals. Trailboss was nice enough to join us for dinner and skiing and apres. He was on his mini skies. Scott was nice enough to mention they would have been perfect for me. If he had not scored so many points this season I would have given him a hard time back. We all raced pretty much one after the other. Stay tuned to hear how Tree_skier reacts to the results.

Nice job by the AZ team to make the finals in our first year! And - a terrific job by Bob as team captain and organizer for this whole thing. It wouldn't have happened without his effort and ongoing support.

Good to see the Trailboss for a few runs down memory lane.......!!

Charlie - heard you are laid up - ?? True? We missed you the past couple of weeks.

Roark - will you be able to make the finals on the 16th? Of course, that assumes there is snow to ski on next week. Last nite Pat's was closed except for the Monday race league.

Sorry I was sketchy on details, just burnt today. Charlie has a back problem and was not able attend. Roark had a previous appontment to manage. He had stated he would make the finals if we made it.

Temps were in the 30's no wind. Clear sky.
Conditions were soft snow on the left side of the mountain. Twister and Fis Race trail were very firm. The snow was good for racing. The ruts did not make an appearance.

I can't wait for a color coded step by step TrailBoss trail report.
We had to walk a short distance up to the double chair. Only one lift operated. It was run for us only. Night skiing has moved to the weekends only.
ChileMass picked up the tab at the end of the night. He wins 1st prize.

I still say I was so fast on the first run that they didn't believe it and made me do it all over. The 1 1/2 hour wait didn't help anyone.

I caught a fish -------------------------------------------------- this big too that got away.
I told you Tree_skier would have something to say. He had a great first run they did not record. He had to do a re-run. Dave is the obvious fastest skier we have, but beating him a couple of times gets under his skin. Good news for next week.

Bob - Scott didn't make that comment. Someone riding the lift with him. Hmm I wonder who that was.

Great job everyone.

Kate (mrs. ga2ski) got bunch of pictures. I'll post them tonight. Some are decent but most are not, the camera had a hard time focusing with the lights and our incredible speed

The numbers don't lie. Check out the overall handicaps and points awarded. You name stays on top every week.
Two different leagues. You are a great motivation.
The truth is quite clear. When you get cranked up you kid some a$$.
