AZ Summit Suggestion

MRG or Magic would rock!

While I would love to return to the Loaf on an AZ day to check out the new Brackett Basin (and say hello to the staff at the Widowmaker), MRG or Magic sound like fun too.

Love to host the AZ folks at MRG one of these days - We could do a special deal for AZ'ers.
Maybe the snowboarders could ride next door at SB and meet us in the bar afterwards!

Not that it is a vote, but if member sentiment matters for anything, I think a destination resort is preferable for an event like the Summit. If we are all going all in for a prepaid weekend booked in advanced with lodging, I can't see doing that for a day trip mountain. I think Magic would be great for a meet up. Much as I love Magic, booking in advanced for Magic is not the best idea at this point. MRG would not work for our snowboard friends and they have no bed base at the mountain (which I think was a great feature of the Loaf Summit last year, rare treat for me).

I think Whiteface would be an awesome Summit destination. Loaf again would be sweet as well. As Snowmonster suggested, Burnt Mountain would be open for the plundering and what are the odds that we get skunked on conditions two years in a row in mid-March? Smuggs or Stowe might be interesting selections as well though I think Loaf and Whiteface are better options (actually, does Whiteface even have on mountain bed base?).

Whiteface does not have a bed base at the mountain.
