We've had gatherings at Burke, Cannon, Killington, Sugarbush, BEast, and many other places. The 'Summit' was a special thing with Sugarloaf that they took the initiative to get that going.

Agreed. There are plenty of AZ opportunities to meet up at Killington. Sugarloaf worked out as a great destination and I would happily return.

i would try to make an azone summit at sugarloaf. never been to the loaf and that was a fantastic package.

if not the loaf, then another area that azoners don't normally frequent like jay. thinking steve would help set up a nice package.

Magic is clearly the answer. No other mountain needs this more. It's centrally located for most. I believe I can get a group rate. The bar rules, the food is awesome. The skiing is great. We have multiple helmet cams to film. Team Save Magic will make a kick ass AZ movie. Orangegondola & I host.

Glad that's settled. Now we just need a date.

I'd be down for that. I know for me, Magic is a PITA to get to for just a day trip. It would be great if you could put together some sort of ski Saturday, stay Saturday night and ski Sunday package.

Does Magic control any of the slopeside lodging or is it all independent?

Maybe you could get them to provide the base lodge for an overnight, like they do for the Boy Scouts...:wink:

I will see what I can do. All the lodges are independently owned. Most pretty reasonable though.

Also deadheadskier, Magic's management are huge deadheads. Believe me I know, it played in the lodge for a whole season straight a couple years back.
