Someone installed something similar next to one of the giant houses uphill of the Ridge Run trail at Sunday River. I skied past it yesterday and when I noticed it, had to take a picture. I had always thought that the schlep up to those houses at the end of the day would be lame if you were paying that much $$$. Guess this is one solution.

Very cool! Anyone remember the "Backyard Blizzard" snowmaker? I fabricated my own snowgun once and used our compressor for air; actually made a decent amount of snow pretty quick!

Saw the same as well. Always wondered if SR had the two old tubing lifts still lying around. Could have sold those to some of the uphill homes I bet.

Problem with those is they are 3PH 480 and you have to pour a pad at each end. Doable but a step up from the "back yard" quick setup tows.

I remember the pads. But given the slope some of those multi million homes have on skier's left, surprised no one inquired about it.
