I actually know little to nothing about cannabis

That's okay. Pretty common with boomers who got easily suckered by years of propaganda on the subject to not know much about it. I bet you watched Reefer Madness in high school correct?

So let me help you

Unlike alcohol, cannabis doesn't have a mostly linear relationship between the strength of the product, the consumption amount, and level of impairment. Everyone is unique and metabolizes cannabis differently. I have friends with Crohn's disease who consume 100 mg + a day and have zero impairment. You on the other hand could probably consume 5 mg and be planted, drooling on the couch asking for your mom. The brain and body can become mostly immune to the impairing effects of cannabis, especially when consumed consistently. A daily user is not the same as a daily drinker.

As for me? I don't drink while I ski. I actually haven't had a drink in a couple months at all. I do consume edibles fairly frequently. Mostly at home or seeing live music. If I'm impaired, I don't drive.

Canadian dollar is $.73US today and 30yr mortgages are near 7%. Les needs people to purchase real estate units and the Canadians are not going to buy real estate in the US with this exchange rate and interest rate.
Rates will come down. The Bond market has priced in 1.0% of cuts from the Fed by EOY.

A daily user that is an addict and impaired is the same as a daily drinker that is an alcoholic and impaired. They both are substance abusers and both are sick, usually mentally ill. I have never watched Reefer Madness-don't know anything about it. So, once again you make more false statements about me. As for propaganda on the subject, you are wrong there too. People my age have been around cannabis and alcohol use our whole lives and know just as much as you do, if not more. We certainly have more life experiences with it than you. Old people like me have friends and know people that have abused one or both substances for 40-50 years and know too well the harm it can cause. I have friends that have been getting high for 50 years, some of them everyday. Two of them are fine, three are real bad off with multiple illnesses, one has dementia (no one else in his family has had it) so bad he doesn't recognize me or anyone else, one is dead, one is in prison, and a fourth has finally quit cannabis last year and said it's the best thing he ever did. It's good that you don't drive impaired, do you ski impaired?

We have a friend is a Vascular surgeon and does tons of operations on clogged arteries/viens. He is shocked by how many weed smokers in their 20's and 30's who have severely clogged arteries/viens like those of elderly people. He says "Smoking anything is not good for you".

You are an absolute moron on the subject of cannabis and a total propaganda casualty. Hopeless cause honestly.

I have no interest in carrying on a conversation with you. Waste of time

I am buying a place. Getting in early.

Possibly....... But more likely, it is probably the 20 years of Super Sizing McD's, BK and DD's that clogged their arteries.

How far down the road are you with that?
Not far at all. Just something that we thought might be a good investment if done early enough. Talked with a couple of people that are going to do the legwork. Then maybe follow suite if it makes sence. I have seen several of my friends beneifit greatly from getting in early. I like the idea.

Be careful. Remember all those who bought early at the Jordan Hotel. People paid $50-60,000 for quartershares that you can get now for $5,ooo or thereabouts. Maybe their value will go up a bit with the new lift, but never back to the original prices.
Timesares are useless. I am talking about a house lot, condo or townhouse. Something you own. In this day and age, banks do not finance time shares. You can not use the unt for collateral so you baically have to take a home lone or pay cash and like you say, it is not a good investment.

I would not count on that holding up. Share unit costs have held up at the Summit and with the new 8 and the coming snowmaking upgrades (which included valving extensions for the Western Reserve), those share sale prices will likely rise back up. Would not shock me if down the road they are at or above the existing ask. Everything else is selling super high still in the region.

You should reopen my locust thread, it's fun-comedy and excellent satire about Northern New England vs Southern New England/NY/NJ. Similar to the long time New York-Boston rivalry or Yankees-RedSox trash talking. There's no harm in the locust thread, I learned how to trash talk from the best; Deon Sanders, Charles Barkley and Larry Bird.

satire is supposed to be funny you fuckin goober

Highlights are that Phase 1 would include the gondola and 1 bubble detach chair within a 4 lift install.
Bring it on. We love going up there in the summer and hiking around. Could be interesting to see.
