Who's the biggest beer leech in your family or circle of friends? You know the guy that is always too willing to drink all of your beer when they come over your house but when you go over their house they never have beer.

For me it's my oldest brother. Never has beer at his house so he'll drink mine if I bring it. Never brings his own beer to a family get together so he'll drink mine. Comes over my house and doesn't leave until the beer is gone.

Who's your biggest beer leech?

Fortunate that most friends and family are pretty good about showing up with good beer. My Dad (at his own house) was sort of a beer leech when my brothers and I were in college and we'd come home for holidays. Dad would stock the fridge with some crappy yellow beer that none of us liked. We'd buy decent micros, Guiness and Bass. Dad would ignore his crappy beer and sit down with a Bass! No one wanted the crap beer, not even him -- guess his wallet ruled on this one. We teased him about it endlessly and it stopped after a year or 2. He loved drinking good beer with all of us kids and soon started buying some too. As time marched on he became a big Yuengling fan -- it's ok, I still prefer much darker brews.
When all the sibs are together in NJ and see Yeungling or anywhere else that has Bass, we'll drink some in Dad's memory!

Thats a cool story but sorry to hear your dad passed away.

My Mom only drinks Bud but my Dad likes good beer so on family get togethers I'll usually bring both. I actually got my Dad hooked on Bag Brown Ale from the Bag and Kettle at Sugarloaf. Other than that he likes Sam Adams Boston Lager and Bass Ale.

You need to lay down the law and tell him two or three of your good beers is equal one of his Chit beers.
