I am sure many places were in great shape this weekend. Belleayre was awesome with everything open and powder everywhere and no crowds.

Belleayre got fresh fluffy powder earlier in the week and 2 additional inches of dry powder yestrday. Everything was open including some of the new trails such as under Tomahawk lift and the new glade trails. Under the Tomahawk there was some excellent rock ledges to jump off with great landing areas. Lift-7 that was broken the previous weekend wask back up and running. The Beast of Belleayre was tracking people out to Catedral brook that had some boot top untracked powder through out the day. Just an awesome ski day.

Belleayre special days lists next Friday 1/13 as a $15 day and week of 1/23 - 1/27 is $10 days.

I had to leave early had some things to do at home.

We skied at Belleayre as well today, and while the conditions were good before about noon, they got really skied off by the time we left at 2:00pm.

Still we skied from 8:45am to 2:00pm and took in 12 runs, my son skied his first double black diamond trail (Utsayantha) and he also took the snowcat to Cathedral Brook.

There is a new glade between Belleayre Run and Wanatuska which had great snowcover. I took some pictures today:
