Best resorts for march/april skiing in Northeast

As one who used to be a Killington late season fanatic, I do miss the location and easy access that they provided to late season turns. I can say however, that Sugarloaf and Saddleback could offer more variety later into May with more than just one run.

Even on closing day and after near record heat in April, Sugarloaf still was offering 4 trails, including Kings Landing, Hayburner, Skidder and Candyside. Alot more of the mountain was still skiable if you where willing to hoof it.

Well last spring Killington closed Mid-April. But Sugarbush and Mount Snow stayed open daily throughout all of April and Mount Snow was open Fri., Sat & Sun. into May. Sugurbush also was open weekends into May last year.

Not to be a homer, but Gore is pretty good.

Generally open til the 3rd week in April, lots of southern facing trails, spring bumps, and a great deck that you can BYOB to.
