Best Run Ski Resort

As much as I loke skiing there, Gore might be the worst run area. But I give them a lot of slack because it's run by the state and it's still a lot less expensive than most areas.

You hate skiing at Whiteface because you claim they don't get enough snow, but you like skiing at Gore. Now that's an interesting take. I'm not trying to start up with you, but in the spirit of healthy mature debate please explain.

The reason is because it has far less wind and the trails do not get turned to blue ice as fast as the Iceface

How many times have you skied at Whiteface?

Skied the Iceface 3 or 4 times over the years. What happens is that after a couple of years I forget how bad it was and go check it out out again after reading all of the hype from the Iceface fan club members on these boards. But after every time I ski it I swear that I'll never go back. It's just a viscious cycle.

Now wait a minute, you posted before that WF is no good Nov.-Feb. but it was OK for about 2 weeks in March. Three or Four times - over years - maybe just maybe you didn't hit it right.
