Best Ski Town in the East
I hope this topic hasn't been do before.
I pick Lake Placid, don’t think anywhere can beat it for bars, eats, lodging, activities, but of course I’m prejudice.
In the much hated Ski Top 50 Resorts issue Tremblant rates high up in Lodging, dinning, Apres and off-hill activates, all in all deservedly so. However, to me it’s a pretend town, something Interwest through up to resemble an alpine village.
Even though it isn’t actually a ski town I love Burlington. It’s right in the heart of ski country with close access to several great mountains. Church St., Lake Champlain, and just the free spirit any thing goes vibe that’s all about the place are great. I envy those of you who are lucky enough to live there.
What’s your favorite and why do you like it?
