Mount Snows sister resort Big Boulder is blowing snow..it looks like they're going to have at least one run open within a few days..they have great tower guns..and it's only an hour away..:daffy: It will probably be a few more weeks until Blue Blows and maybe a month until Camelwack gets in on the action..

Wow! Kudos to Peak resorts. Snowmaking on 11-7 in these parts has to be a record. I'd much rather see them open Frost before Boulder but who cares it's skiing in November close to home. If they stay open until mid April again this year the season may possibly go longer than 5 months.

The news keeps getting better, I was pretty bummed when I found out this morning that Belleayre was not going to open this weekend, killing any hope of skiing there on Friday the 16th. Then I found out Mt. Snow will be open so I figured I could make the looooong drive there for a day trip on Friday. Now if BB opens and opens weekdays early season I'll go there instead of MS. Of course if BB is only open on the weekend I'll go to MS Friday.:daffy:

I was there too. They had really good edge to edge coverage on the trail. Snow was decent, great vibe...people were just so pumped to be out on the snow. It was jam packed...not really a huge issue though. I think with the turnout Peak made the right decision to open on 11-10. They're staying open through the week from 3-9.

A lot of good reports form those that headed up to Big Boulder yesterday.

It's been as cheap as $300 per person for the entire season in the past. :)
